You need service software only for Polydoros LX. (Polydoros IT does not need service software, it is all included in its firmware...)

Now, for the LX you must know the service software version that you need, or at least the firmware version installed in your unit.
Firmware version is mentioned in the unit's factory protocols that come with the unit from the factory. Or, if there are any floppies/CDs available that came with the unit, the software version is written on their labels.

There are no cd's onsite for the LX 80. How do I obtain the firmware level needed for service. I tried to reboot the system to see if this was dispayed during bootup but it only displayed "Polydoros LX 80".

How do I access the service for the I.T. if the software is already available in the console? Is there a password needed as well?

The only way to find out the firmware version of the Polydoros LX80 is to find it written somewhere...
If this is not possible, you will have to use a random version of service software and after logging into service mode, you should see (in the "Info" section of the service sw) the actual firmware versions that are installed in your generator.
Of course, if you are not sure that you are using the correct sw version, you should not make ANY changes or adjustments to your generator, because it can have unpredictable results.

About the Polydoros IT generator:
No password is needed for service mode. Only one switch needs to be flipped over to switch to service mode.
You will find detailed info in your email, on how to access it.

I did not get the e-mail detailing the I.T. service switch you detailed. Can you try to resend it too me?

Also, Can you send me a generic software to integrate with the LX80 so I can obtain the correct version I need?

I have re-sent the email. (If you still cannot find it, check you junk e-mail folder as well...)

There is no such thing as "generic" service software. But in any case I am going to send you something to experiment with...

Hi,

What program do I use in order to open the SSW_VE02D.rar  & the PolyIT_Service.rar files?
My laptop has windows XP. Is this sufficient enough to perform these tasks?

No, Windows XP do not open rar archive files...
The most typical program is Winrar, but there are more programs (free or not) avalable in the Internet.

If you write "open rar files" in Google search, you will find plenty of programs that you can use...
